I didn't realise that people used those arguements for the PS2 aswell!

$375 is way too much for most people to spend on a console. Now I know some 30 year old "kid" who buys all the latest electronics and games is gonna come on here and say that PS2 price is no problem for him, and that it'll go perfect with his high end home theater system and provide broadband products and services into his home.=I know for some people £400 isn't a big deal, especially with their surround sound and HD TV.

it has a bunch of useless features that won't be used by mainstream consumers until the PS2's game abilities are obsolete.=no one needs Blu-Ray, or wireless internet, or HD output etc etc

And if anyone read the other pages, one of this guys other points was this:
"1. DVD is nothing special... as games use less and less FMV and more and more realtime graphics, that extra space is useless. Space requirements are actually coming down this generation. There's no need for all that storage space for all that FMV... you can just make good graphics in realtime." Yeah, yeah, so that's why we ended up with over 4gb of data per DVD, as opposed to less than a CD, now where have we heard extra space isn't needed?

So that goes to show you shouldn't predict what happens too early...

One person's experience or opinion never shows the general consensus
