I'm not sure I'd want a truly "open world" 3D Mario game, as I'm not sure it would really fit the series gameplay all that well. What I would like is a true sequel to Super Mario 64 with a huge hub to explore and then dozens of large, "open" sandbox-style environments with multiple objectives. Also, no flippin' time limit!!!
