DayZ To Be Powered By Infusion Engine, Dean Hall Spills The Beans

Dean Hall has officially revealed that DayZ will be powered by a new engine called Infusion. Infusion is being developed internally in the company and will replace the current Arma 3 engine that is being used for it. This engine change does not mean that Bohemia will code everything from scratch, so there is nothing to worry about (or at least that’s what Hall claims). Infusion Engine featured a better architecture than the previous engine, thus giving the development team a very robust platform to build on top of. Report: Crytek UK Temporarily Stops Working On Homefront: The Revolution

Things are definitely not looking good for Crytek. While the company has rolled out a new version of its CRYENGINE SDK, there are reports that its UK studio has stopped working on Homefront: The Revolution as its employees have not been paid yet.
