It is a damn good game but not the best RPG, by far. Super Mario RPG holds that title. Now that game is unparalled. Great dialogue, great cast, fantastic and engaging battle system, varied settings, lengthy story, memorable soundtrack. I really believe to be the best RPG in existence.
Actually, SMRPG ties with suikoden densetsu 3. Everything i said applies to this game as well.
