Most people have already played it and confirmed its greatness. So yes, it can be great ;)
It's not suddenly going to be worse just because it was released a year earlier. I mean now it has actual graaphics and even included DLC.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
