Well if you are questioning the increase it's not out of the question to get a lift. If you are questioning 71K (lets face it questioning 47K in NA) then it might be a bit on the high side but that would also mean the 14 June number is a bit on the high side too. However I doubt 14 June is high because to me that 70% boost was on the low side. It does more align with my expectations for Kinectless boost for the 2 week cumulative effect to pretty much come up to my prediction for the Kinectless boost.

What would surprise me a little is if Xb one stays above 60K through the summer. Given the price cut came at the cost of losing what was previously considered a center-piece of Xb one functionality. OTOH as the market seems to have decided Kinect is not worth the price, doing a reset might just grab the market's attention and substantially re-rate Xb one sales. Though if Xb one's short term peak is 71K and PS4's summer trough winds up around that or slightly above the dumping of Kinect will probably not have reached MS expectations. I do think it's made life a lot easier for MS's big exclusive software to help push more consoles.
