I agree a little bit with OP, I think Consoles will survive but as a niche product.
Competition from other devises are much harder today.
I like consoles and PC, but probably use my Ipad or Iphone mord for news, gaiming, streaming and tv.
Look at Japan we will all follow. No of my closest friends buy a console all are tablets, phones or PC.
Still hope I am wrong.
