Somehow I doubt that the size of the DVD was the limiting factor in the length of GeoW, or the bd in the length of HS or Uncharted (those two where very story based games, and the story would have been stretched too long if they went on any further).
Anyway, they could just do a system with multiplayer on 1 disk, and sp on another, or if they really needed to, the could have a small install disk, for those with HDDs, and the rest could just play with multiple disks
