How much did Majora's Mask sell? Yeah. :) 

Twilight Princess sold a lot because it was a launch title for a very hyped console. And it was also on the gamecube as well. 


The hype of the Wii had nothing to do with my decision to get TP.  TP's art style made me get TP.  It was the sole reason I wanted a Wii.

Unless there's a Metroid out around the time Zelda U releases(which is highly doubtful), Zelda will be the sole reason I buy a Wii U.
