I've played plenty of Forza Horizon and Forza 4 on 360. Both fall in realm of racing sims. Forza Horizon is still a deep game that feels much more realistic than any traditional arcade racer. Games like Outrun, Mario Kart, and Daytona USA are what comes to mind when I think of arcade racer. A simplistic, maybe even exaggerated game not aiming for realism. |
OK I get what your saying if you put it that way Horizon is more of a sim racer then a pure arcade racer. Also since Horizon 2 will feautre fully tuneable cars they are definetly adding more sim elements to the second game. But they are also adding some more arcade type content to the game since they are adding races that feauture short cuts and different routes.
