What happens in the Pokemon games when you catch all possible Pokemon?

In red and blue, probably yellow too, i remember you get a certificate from professor oak, and you have th option to print it using the good old GB Printer. In the newer pokemons its impossible, theres like what? 650 pokemon now?(just a guess)
