tl;dr: nintendo treated third parties like shit on Nes/Snes era.And even when they were losing to sony(ps1/Ps2 era) they still treated third parties like useless peasants.(they actually called third parties useless 10+ years ago)

and thats why third parties dont support the WiiU...?

Yes because wiiU is following the gamecube's path but with even worse HW sales.

i mean, the same way nintendo didn't care to talk with third parties during the gamecube development the did it again with WiiU.

The gamecube at least was a powerfull machine that could handle the PS2 multiplats so the only thing that matter was the install base size and demography.

in the case of WiiU,even if the install base increase and nintendo gamers start to actually buy non-nintendo games, still, it will be hard to make a PS4/WiiU multiplat.(specially non-crossgen ones)

Is it really that hard? I mean have you tried?

Well look at Wii for example! it sold more than PS3 and 360,yet a lot of greedy companies like capcom skipped some AAA games like RE5/6 on that machine.Probably because the downgrade would be hard to archieve.Remember dead rising Wii? they had to literally recreate the game using the old RE4 engine in order to make it run on Wii and even with all this work the game flopped on Wii.

WiiU is suffering from nintendo's bad historical tracking in the eyes of third parties.
