Why in the fuck would religion be illegal? The only countries in which that has been the case, were totalitarian states.
I agree that Christianity, not any one spiritual belief path, should be "informing" or running our nation's policies. But suggesting outlawing religion? Not that I ever talk about myself that much on here, but I happen to be "Pagan", IE highly spiritual but not religious. If we "ban religion", where does that leave people like me? Or are you simply suggesting we make America some kind of atheists only Nerdtopia?
Sorry, but while I totally agree that Christianity/Judaism/Islam have done almost nothing but horrible things to our world, the idea of BANNING spiritual beliefs outright, if that's what you're saying.....it goes against the notions of Freedom and Democracy. America is already bad enough. We don't need to swing violently into opposite extreme.
