I was a luker for a few months myself and just joined last week.

I was in the Air Force for 8 years. I was stationed at Barksdale AFB (Air Force Base), LA. Definitely one of the best times I've ever had in my life. I certainly wouldn't have never met my wife if I didn't join. She was in as well. I got out in 2009. The Air Force is really like having a 9-5 with a uniform on. There are some mandatory appointments like dental, urinalysis (if you're randomly chosen...which I was EVERY YEAR), etc. Oh and can't forget about deployments. Outside of that, the Air Force is really chill. I won't say it's the best because I haven't been in the other branches. However, even they say the Air Force is the most chill. It really is and I miss it.
