Okay, so you changed an internal drive.  This is even more simple.  You plug an external into the usb port.  You have a valid point about the low internal storage space.  They should have never released the 8GB model.  It should have been 32 GB and 64 GB.  I'm just saying the cost to consumer for expanded space will be cheaper if they are given an option to go out and buy it for themselves than Nintendo provide it with internal SSD.  Most Nintendo games don't have huge patches that are GBs in space big.  Perhaps they need to offer more space next generation for the third party companies that do those large patches.
