I am admittedly a Nintendo Fan, but definitely not a fanBOY. :p

Nintendo really messed up during the N64 generation, I gladly switched over to the Playstation1 and eventually got a cheap N64 when it had already lost (for a few games I wanted, still trying to find Ogre Battle 64!). During the 6th gen era I also got a PS2, but I quickly also got a Gamecube, I enjoyed it much much more than the N64, but my PS2 was still by far my primary gaming console (excluding multiplayer games).

But with the PS3 I'm simply left lacking. I still enjoy good graphics, but I don't want them to sacrifice so many other aspects of games either. For my OWN opinion, the PS3 lacks the games I want (and bought on the PS2), disagreeable design choices (the blu-ray drive requiring hard drive installs, removed backwards compatibility), and an extensive price tag (I'm only interested in gaming, the media center/linux functionality is useless to me).

I'd never say that the PS3 couldn't satisfy other people, but for me it certainly does not. Oh, and I do plan on getting a PSP Slim when I have the funds (although my DS will still be my main mobile gaming platform!). ;)

Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.
