So would banning smoking but by setting up limitations you can slowly and effectively change a lot of peoples ideals. Once there is an insignificant amount of people left you can impose a ban without people complaining. Right now people who doesnt smoke are taught to hate it. Same will happen with religion as science becomes more and more widespread throughout the world. At some point in time far far off, i think every religion will be considered a freakish cult like scientology is being seen now. Now people will always have faith but if we can learn them to channel that faith into humans instead of a man in the clouds or space or wherever we can truly progress as a species.
