| pokoko said: Personally, I'm not a fan of mindless enemies, zombie or otherwise. Zombie horde games, especially, turn into a chore for me. I don't mind them IN games, like those in Fallout 3/NV, as they do given an eeriness and sense of fear in small doses, but all of that is lost when they're the focal point or they're just target practice dummies. I don't really mind them when they're tough and not to be taken lightly, either. Something like Dead Rising, though? Not my cup of tea. |
I definitely agree. I don't mind zombies as ONE of the enemies in the game. Fallout is an excellent example, along with Zelda. I just hate when the game is completely based around zombies (like Dead Rising) or DLC zombies (like Undead Nightmare from Red Ded).
For the most part, the games play similarly with similar plot and all. Some games do it better like TLOU, but the basic premise is always repetitive.
