That actually makes for an interesting discussion. Do you consider RE4's Ganado, zombies?

Yeah, Ganado are more of a "borderline" for me, along with the more advanced enemies in TLOU. They look more human than most zombies and certainly possess some form of basic intelligence, so they aren't mindless, which is a fundamental part of my definition. At the same time, they are infected and controlled by parasites, so it's kinda in the grey area.
