Looks zombie enough to me. Same concept and all for the most part (humans get infected and turn into mindless killers)

These creatures aren't undead. They're living, brainwashed by a natural parasite, fungus. They're intelligent, as they use echolochation to locate their victims, despite being blind, and the fungus can evolve to become an even more deadly hunter.

I guess you could say they're zombies because they bite their prey...I guess.

Not zombies in the most traditional sense, but in almost all ways they resemble zombies. They may be technically alive, but they are made to resemble zombies in almost every way, with a few quirks differentiating them a bit.
