Sounds like Sony early last generation... how many 3rd party devs bit the dust with failed PS3 exclusives again?
Factor 5 (formerly of the stellar Rogue Squadron and Turrican series) went under after the abysmal Lair.
Free Radical (formerly of Timesplitters fame and comprised of former Goldeneye team members from Rare) released the critical bomb Haze and went under shortly after as well. And many more 3rd parties struggled early on in the PS3's life cycle.
