1. What features do I literally miss out on by having a Basic instead of a Premium? Feel free to list obvious and more nuanced ones. 2. Are there games you feel I should definitely be considering (I enjoy very high production value platformers like Mario or Banjo Kazooie)? Realistically I'm likely to leave racing games and shooters to the consoles with more power. 3. Any other factors that could or should influence my thought process on this? 4. Though I cannot imagine a price close to this anytime soon, is there some sort of price drop speculation of note that could lead to a lower price of entry in future? 5. Are there accessories or things I will require not factored into the price? |
1. Nothing really. I think the only thing the premium has is 32gb hard-drive versus 8gb. Also it comes with a charging stand for the gamepad. Both are nice sure, but you can buy external harddrive is you need and also can buy the charging cradle as well. Otherwise just color preference i guess.
2. Lego City Undercover is a great game, though atrocious load times. Pikman 3 is great if you like those types of games. Batman Arkham City is also pretty great and its cheap price may warrent another purchase even if you already played it. Good use of gamepad, and basically game of year edition plus some. (didn't list any mario or zelda games since you posted already about them, though you really shouldn't skip mario kart)
3. I hear Miiverse is great. I don't use it, but all the talk i hear and the stamps i've been getting from games really temps me to use it. Wind Waker's bottle system also seems cool way to use miiverse
4. I doubt a price cut until after christmas season at best. Just expect more bundles like Mario kart
5. No you should be fine, unless your someone who can't handle using different controller scheme and NEED to buy a pro controller or something. But considering you have a Wii you would already have a pro controller if you were that type.
