Let's just say I bought my WiiU to kick ass and play games... and it's not very good at kicking ass.

The notion that most people want more than one game a month seems ridiculous to me. Most gamers aren't as into gaming as we are. As a 19 year old male in the US I know a huge amount of people my age with 360s. Majority of these people have had one for years and years, yet most own like 12 games or less. They buy 3 big games their friends talk about a year, perhaps pick one up for cheap, and maybe rent/borrow a couple other things, then purchase a handful of digital titles. For minute to minute distraction they use mobile, and spend most of their lives doing things other than playing videogames.

I don't think it's the volume on WiiU that's the biggest turnoff (At least not for the coming 6 months + 2015), but it's the type of content. Most people still aren't interested in solely Nintendo games, and would rather find good places for Elder Scrolls, CoD, Assassin's Creed, Battlefield, Destiny, Halo, Gran Turismo, FIFA, GTA, Madden, GoW, whatever.
