The new Zelda's art style will not hinder sales. In fact, it may boost them because it's no longer competing with Final Fantasy or Call of Duty for da best gwaphix evah. It's enough of a zag for screenshots to stick out and still look good.
Personally, I like the new look SLIGHTLY better than the old one. It has more personality, which is what matters to my eye.
