I think this could be very cool, but as an aftermarket add-on it will have a tough time making a go of it. If it is a general-purpose controller with substantial motion elements, like the Wii remote, it might gain some traction as an optional controller in mainstream games. If it's a specialized controller, it will come down to the quality of the games released to work with it -- most of those will likely come from the controller manufacturer, and actually pulling off a Wii Sports-scale phenomenon is a lot harder than coming up with the next Bad Street Brawler.
