The good news is that Android app spending is to the point where it's 70% as big as the App Store.

The bad news is that hardware fragmentation still drives up the cost of Android development, iOS is a beast in Japan, and 98% of Google Play spending is on freemium apps, not premium games like Monster Hunter.
