So a retailer near me is offering (what is obviously a clearance) the Wii U basic Skylanders Pack for $AU170.  For reference, EB games Australia is offering the Wii U Basic without Skylanders for $AU250 used.

I own a Wii (2 actually, but one appears to be broken), so already have Wiimotes, nunchucks, a sensor bar and a couple of games I have yet to play (in additon to those I have). I would likely be interested in Mario, will probably skip Mario Kart, may grab Smash, and will be all over Zelda like a rash.  As such, this console might just pass the old 'you should want games costing more than the console itself' test. I already own a PS4 and Xbox One. As it stands I have insufficient time to play games for my existing consoles, letalone consoles from last generation (got them all) or Steam. So there is no pretending I need a Wii U. Also have a 3DS.

So I have a couple of questions.

1. What features do I literally miss out on by having a Basic instead of a Premium?  Feel free to list obvious and more nuanced ones.

2. Are there games you feel I should definitely be considering (I enjoy very high production value platformers like Mario or Banjo Kazooie)? Realistically I'm likely to leave racing games and shooters to the consoles with more power.

3. Any other factors that could or should influence my thought process on this?

4. Though I cannot imagine a price close to this anytime soon, is there some sort of price drop speculation of note that could lead to a lower price of entry in future?

5. Are there accessories or things I will require not factored into the price?

I really do welcome opinions on both sides of the argument - I concede of all next generation consoles I am least knowledgable about the Wii U, beyond knowing it has some fantastic exclusives already.

1) Memory size is bigger on premium, they also included a console stand and chargeing stand for the gamepad on premium.

2) ZombiU is in most bairgain bins at the moment, still a great game, dont pass it up.

3) Do you plan on buying a tonne of digital content? (memory size consideration)

4) no, nothing beyond wishful thinking and/or clickbait, no solid evidence to suggest it at all.

5) nothing beyond the stands, and theyre optional really, i would say get a cheap screen protector for the gamepad though, beyond that just buy a cheap high capabity sd card.
