the Wii's user base is different then what the GC's what so I honestly have no idea how it will sell. GT5's is a shoe in.

Yes, the Wii's user base is different. If anything evidence suggests that the Wii user base will exceed GC levels when it comes to popular franchises. Mario Party, Zelda, Mario, Paper mario all sold better than their GC counterparts, SSBB will probably sell better too. The one notable exception was Metroid, however MK is more like the other games than Metroid.
