Go digital. It won't have a backlash. Ms are just going about it wrong. Physical already has lending and people were upset over the fact DRM was about to limit that. Now, you got rid of DRM so physical is taken care of. Just make it digital. Also, I'm glad they are still implementing it instead of the "oh the features you guys will miss with this update. I won't tell you how it would work but it was awesome. No, we can't do it anymore now. Your loss" bullshit they did at first.
Since they have been lollygagging around with this feature sony has already announced a similar feature and one upped them already. Even though it's one game right now there is no reason to expect it not to follow in others. Especially if successful
