I think at this point Nintendo is prioritizing profit over everything else. Now that the WiiU is no longer selling at a loss, there's a very good chance they'll finally be profitable after three straight years of losses.
I can definitely see them bundling Smash at $299 this holiday, but I don't think we'll see an official drop to $249 until next year.
