The slow-paced story, for one. And the repetitive combat. A third of the dungeons. Anything having to do with the overworld. The backtracking.

Can you be more specific about the combat? Is it the enemy design or the motion controls (Or both) you didn't like?

Mostly the enemy design. Their defensive posture (those that have them) is little more than a prompt for a directional attack. It's one step above flashing arrows on the screen.
