1. The white PS4 has only been announced as a bundle with Destiny. There hasn't been any mention of them bringing a stand-alone white PS4 console to the market.

2. I think it's too early to say at this point. We need more details about No Man's Sky and it's online components. My understanding is that PS+ is not required for "passive" online components (like leaderboards) and it is required for "active" online components (co-op, deathmatches, etc).
