I would also like to add we are using bits rather than bytes , and blu-ray space is measured in bytes. If a blu-ray has GBS of information then you must multiply that by 8 to get gb. So that means a let's say 8GB blu-ray movie would be equivalent to 64gb. Or around 64,000 mbs. S. Then you would also have to measure how long it would take to upload, and how long it would take to download. SO lets say the download is 5mbps , and the upload is 5mbps. That is about 7.1 hrs to play a movie that has 8 gbs.

 

 

This is on a fast connection , and on a size smaller than a dvd. So it would take days-weeks on a 50gb blu-ray, or a 200gb blu-ray in the future.
