Eh I wouldn't say we should remove our bases around the world. Japan and South Korea for example depend on our security there to help maintain balance in the region. If some countries ask us to remove the bases then sure.
But to answer your question, no I don't think we'll become involved in Iraq on a level where we put boots on the ground etc...... Air Stirkes and Drones will probably be the most we get involved, although I have heard that were sending 300 "Military Advisers" to the country.
