With IOS/Android now a major force in portable gaming there is no way 3DS and Vita will move as many units as their predecessors. I remember a few years ago where many were predicting a Microsoft handheld was in the works, in the current portable gaming scene that now seems unimaginable. Even Nintendo who have dominated handheld gaming for decades will be very wary of investing big amounts of cash for R&D and marketing of a new handheld console to succeed 3DS. Mark my words - Wii U and XBone will struggle to hit 40 million sales. |
