Essentially a reboot into a new series that does feature a SP mode and connective storyline. Starting a campaign with tf2 wouldn't make sense IMHO. So they have to convert the 2nd game into a new start. And please have a real next gen engine, source needs to be taken out back and shot. |
They probably have enough money to get the Unreal or Crytek engine. Id stills sell their engine as well. I doubt that Respawn will create their own as I doubt they have the time or engineers to do so. Since Titanfall was successful they probably can go down a new engine route since they will have more time to get a game out the door then they did for the first one.
