Nintendo brought the games like everyone wanted - So why the complaining still?

Great post. :) I mostly agree with everything you said, except for Zelda. I'm a huge fan of cel-shading. I think there's a lot of potential for gorgeous, non-demanding games there, but it's been horribly underutilized. I've been waiting 8 long years for a AAA cel-shaded game, and I've always known that Zelda is my best chance of getting it - but Nintendo released that weak little Wii last gen, so the wait was on. You can imagine how hyped I was when I saw this E3's trailer! It honestly looks better than the Witcher 3 to my eyes right now, haha.

I like that they're bringing in new tech - it spices things up. I would really like for the world and its inhabitants to be radically different from any prior Zelda, like WW was back in the day - though I doubt that'll be the case. The Link they showed is probably from really early in the game; we all know he'll get the master sword and green tunic at some point, so I wouldn't worry.

You can still pull off cell shading with Wii horsepower, Skyward Sword should be proof of that (sure it didn't have the polish this game appears to have but it's still cell shaded). I think Nintendo just went back to the realistic style of Twilight Princess to appease the fan backlash of Wind Waker (as they should have). Now I think they've returned to their old stubborn selves and seem insistance on returning to cell shaded anime style for Zelda. To be fair, the art style of this new game looks pretty cool, but if I had the choice between that and that badass demo they showed shortly after the Wii U's launch, I'd take the demo no contest. I don't understand why they'd backtrack from that awesome style..
