If they can't keep a stable framerate on such a simple-looking game on 3DS (which looks just terribly optimized), then their console game will probably end up performing just as bad and I honestly wouldn't even want a game like that. They need to get someone like Monolith Soft to do it since these guys have experience with making large open-world games at respectable quality. They could start right after Xenoblade X is complete, and the development of this Pokemon game probably won't take as long to make as Xenoblade X since it will have simpler designs. Now, will their first game be a full open-world remake of older Pokemon games, or something brand new and different? |
I would love for Monolith to make a Pokemon game as long as it wasn't a Xenoblade clone. It would look simpler, but the world would probably be bigger. I'd hope it was a new game and not a remake.
