Nintendo needs Minecraft as much to defend the console as they need it for sales - I'll have to get a different console by this X mas if the Wii u does not have it or it is not announced by then - my 8 yr old and his friends love that game but I don t want to get It on my laptop as he ll be using all the time when I need it!
I m sure many parents currently or in the future looking for a console won t consider one w out Minecraft due to thier kids request -so the Wii u needs MC to help sell hardware as well as keep existing users
