Favorite genres would have to be  Action Adventure God Of War, Uncharted, Tomb Raider and 3D platformers. Mario, Crash, Jak and Daxter, Conkers bad fur day. My favorite series would have to be Metal Gear Solid, i came out the womb playing that franchise, only game running 30+ years that i have played all the titles including metal gear acid and portable ops. Another reason is the creator inspired me at a young age, to take up creative writing and even script writing and drama classes.
