Still according to vgchartz it kept overselling the X360 every week but vgchartz realigned the numbers in favor of the X360. But yeah, for now we can say it is a tie. Still the 7th generation isn't over yet. It will be when all consoles will be out of profuction. I'd like to remind that the PS3 is outselling even the XB1 thus the old consoles do matter.

Aslong as their being tracked and still in production then yes you can say 7th generation is still going one could say 6th gen is still going PS2 is still around in small quantities. Vgchartz Xbox One numbers are laughable, when NPD proves them wrong by at least 600K.
