When there are fewer games to play in a console, opinions about those games get skewed by the "starving syndrome". The "starving syndrome" dictates that for every game that the console lacks in proportion to the others, the games get better at least triple the amount! I learned it in my maths lesson and you know I got an A in that, so yeah... you pretty much said what every mathematician has been saying for the last 100 years.
