Probably because a lot of the GOTG comments were not made by MS fans but Sony and Ninty fans who were making fun of MS fans for being hyped about Titanfall. And they had every reason to be since all the previews by reviewers were extremely positive. Ok, the game didn't turn out to be the best shooter ever, but got good scores that justify most of the hype.
Also, every fanbase has a few hardcore fans that hype everything as GOTG (which is obvious just by looking at the thread titles- I shall not name names) and make the rest of the fanbase look bad. Their opinion is not representative of the entire fanabase.
