Then why doesn't the PlayStation & Xbox use 3D anymore, since the 3DS was announce to do glasses-free 3D back in the last half of 2010?

Nintendo said 3rd parties can make their Wii U games 3D Capable, excluding the Wii U Launch Titles. Why aren't options being used with PS3/360/PS4/ONE/Wii U? Did the 3DS milk the 3D market? Or are 3rd parties waiting for more people to own a PS4/ONE/Wii U to put in the time & money to make 3D capable games? Okay, it's obviously that last one.

3D takes a toll on performance.

3D TVs are not mainstream and comsumers are not demanding 3D.

Devs determine that 3D capability is not worth graphics toll.

3D only takes a toll on performance if you originally didn't make the Hardware with 3D in mind, and then did it later via firmware update, like the PS3 & 360 did.

3D TVs sells are better then HD TVs during e same point of life spam and are still up year-on-year sales. Consumers are assuming 3D will come since it has been coming via TV channels and 3D Movies & 3D Blu-Rays, so they assume the rest of the industry like the gaming industry will eventually join the party, and I would have to agree with them. But yeah, 3D isn't mainstream, but HD currently isn't as mainstream as people would have you believe. You would be surprise how many people still don't have an HD TV, including many users on VGChartz, myself included.

It only has graphics toll on the PS3 & 360, but the GameCube & 3DS & Wii U & PS4 & ONE can do it without graphics toll, at least the GameCube & 3DS & Wii U can.
