To be honest, the 3D gimmick is what got me to buy the 3DS at launch. Today, I don't give a crap about the 3D anymore, and I almost never us it. Personally, I think the 3DS would've had less sales if it weren't for the 3D.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
