SONY: FEWER FIRST-PARTY GAMES COMING FOR PS VITA

"It's very fortunate that the indie boom happened, and they are providing lots of great content to Vita," he said. "Gameplay, game-mechanic wise, people want to spend 10 minutes, 15 minutes getting in and out. ... Instead of watching big stories or cinematics, you can spend hours on Vita."

DOOM!

Oh well... -_-

I think the reviewer miss translated Yoshida, who probably meant that they were stepping away from big lavish console quality graphics/playstyles on Vita.

. They just said that indies on Vita is doing really well and they are performing above expectation on Vita. This does not mean no big games, it means that they have learned that they should stop trying to recreate console games on Vita, with drawn out stories told via cutscenes etc.

And why are people so fixated on what Sony is doing in house instead of what they are bringing to the Vita period?! The offerings have been stellar if you are in the know. Could they be better? sure, but it is still getting retail worthy games.
