Voice acting is not where I want them to spend limited time and money, that's one thing for sure. But, if they DO go for voice acting... I certainly want them to spend A LOT of time and money on it.

I've seen and heard voice acting in big budget Japanese games from the likes of Final Fantasy, and I'm not sure it would do all that much for me in Zelda. The way characters interact in Zelda is a little different because there's no speech. I wouldn't harp on it if they do it well but I think it will be different. I also would probably not feel reduced enjoyment if it lacks voice acting.

So I kind of get where Aonouma is going with "Does that add to the experience? It might actually just make it the same as a lot of other games.". But if they're ambitious they could indeed do something great with voice and change the series up even more.
