I'm rather much against voice acting in Zelda.
Not everything about the game has to move towards feature animation or go the cinematic route. Quite a hefty part of Zelda is the picture book aesthetic, with strong compositions during dialog sequences, where you read the always rather simple and poignant text, and "turn the page," by pressing A to move on.
A lot of my enjoyment from Zelda comes from trying to either imagine the voices, or play the characters myself when I read it.
To me, even the very best voice acting would take away more from the experience than it adds, so when you add to that the insane amount of work it would be to record it and lip-sync it and add real-time expressive gestures to talking characters and make sure that all of this happened at a time AFTER the dialog was completely locked down, it just doesn't make sense to me. And then comes all the considerations of whether you should allow the player to cut characters off during dialog blurbs, if you should still be allowed to wait with progressing long after they've spoken, and what these do to the emotional impact of the moments.
Spend the time and money elsewhere.
