X1 will never catch or match PS4 sales, it is a misfired product.

Sure Sony has the better game machine, 2. but if MS has more games, and Sony has long dry spells on the exclusive side and too much indie, and not enough AAA 1st party, would the 3rd party software alone continue to be enough?

The reason that 3. PS3 eventually caught up to X360 was because of the AAA 1st party efforts. The X360 had that clear 3rd party advantage early on. Now it seems the roles are reversed.

I think its anyone's game right now, and as they big two compete, the gamers will continue to be the real winners.

2. MS has more games? And sony has dry spells and too much indie??? This is just dirty XBOT propaganda (not directed at you). There simply is no truth to this claim whatsoever, its just what xbots say when trying to win an argument. And this thing is thrown around like anyone is actually saying they aren't buying a PS4 cause it has no games. For a console with no games it sure as hell is selling very well.
3. Now the PS4 has the third party advantage and please, sony's glut of AAA first party studios haven't suddenly gone away. They are still there and the games are still coming. Whats really funny is if you actually look at the amount of first party games from both companies in the first 24 months, you will find that sony has more. 

I hate to break it to you, but its not anyones game. Its currently sony's game to lose. And to do that they have to really really try really hard. All the signs and facts are there only if you choose to see it.
