It would also be a better idea if the other Link was from Ocarina of Time, but he's not. Though I have to admit "Twilight Link" sounds really cool haha. Speaking of, between Dark Toon Link and the original NES Zelda Link costume Toon Link has some of the best costumes in the game.

Those names are from nintendo.  There is Link, Hero of Time and Link, Hero of Winds.  Since links get reincarnated with every new game, either the time link or wind link gets reincarnated.  Since twilight link reincarnated from the hero of time, you know on account of not being cel shaded, link of time totally works for twilight link.
